Pedestrian died of injuries in Flushing

Police reported a pedestrian was struck by vehicle on September 6 around 1:30pm on 37th Avenue near Main Street. On September 10, the pedestrian died of injuries and identified as Shaofen jin, 57 of Flushing. The city's medical examiner released the info on September 22 to NYPD. The driver has not been charged.

For the year 2019, Main Street between Northern Blvd and Roosevelt Avenue reported 112 vehicle accidents Of that, 6 cyclists and 12 pedestrians were involved.
