Pay for the water from now on in NYC

The NYC Dept of Environmental terminated free rain barrel giveaways forever and ever for all residents.

Each year around 7,600 barrels that can hold 60 gallons of rain water from the sky was a great promotion for local elected officials to spread their names.

Now some of them have requested the DEP commissioner to resume the giveaway.

This message is no longer for residents,

"Additionally, by storing rainwater and using it for outdoor chores, like watering a lawn or garden or washing a car, homeowners also reduce water consumption and save on water bills."

However, the city needs people to pay for water to cover lots of costs and not have even free watta.

The Mayor's Office is reviewing a new program that will allow y'all to purchase barrels for a cost, i.e. money.
