Parking lot entry and exit pains in New Hyde Park

The parking lot on Hillside Avenue and Hillside Blvd where Stop and Stop is located has one part closed due to paving. The exit is closed on the west side to Hillside Avenue leaving with one lane for all. Meanwhile those drivers who are not patient but use the entrance on the east side to exit anyway.

The store management reported the private company that did the pavement is responsible for the traffic but no one is coordinating the traffic.

So until drivers are advised to use caution while using the parking lot. All drivers are at their own risk according to the management.

Drivers are now waiting over 15 minutes to exit the parking lot while waiting for the traffic light to change.

Also Hillside Avenue westbound from Langdale Street to Little Neck Parkway is awaiting for paving. Drivers are to use caution.
