Overhaul coming soon to one spot in Jamaica

The MTA announced a survey for all locals to participate on the new design of the Jamaica Station on Sutphin Blvd and Archer Avenue. A new station with overhaul all around connecting the LIRR, AirTran and the local subways will soon start construction. The last construction for this station was 25 years ago and it's not part of the $19 billion JFK renovations or the Van Wyck Expressway but a different budget to be announced by the Governor.

From JFK to LGA, the route is crucial with two casinos connecting tourism which will skyrocket Queens as the next big wave.

The public can participate in the survey.
