Heavy fire at a commercial location in College Point

The FDNY reporting a heavy fire at a commercial location in College Point. This is on 23rd Avenue near 130th Street. All are evacuated to safety and EMS is checking for injuries.

As of now this is a third alarm.

Firefighters are working on the scene.

Locals are advised to keep the windows closed due to heavy smoke in the area.

The cause of fire is under investigation.
