Operation Restore Roosevelt launched on one stretch

Today marked the first day of Operation Restore Roosevelt to the lawless community from Jackson Heights, Elmhurst to Corona on brothels operating illegally on Roosevelt Avenue. Another 89 days to go to restore the community from human trafficking to illegal parlors.

Only one elected official, local Council member Moya, joined with the Governor and Mayor to restore the area. Jessica Ramos, Jessica Gonzales-Roja, Catalina Cruz and Grace Meng were busy in Long Island City for a rally on Amazon workers joining teamsters.

Alexandria Ocasio Cortez is in DC on much more important matters which are on campaign trips for the upcoming election.

The area is rampant with drug dealing, human trafficking, retail theft, unlicensed vendors, prostitution, brothels, counterfeiting, unregistered mopeds on robbery spree and loud noise in the area.

The NYPD deployed 200 cops and the Governor issued 100 NYS troopers to the area after a press statement was issued last night.

The command center is set up on 84th Street and Roosevelt Avenue for locals to address complaints.

The Mayor later quoted, “We will end sex trafficking in this area. We are not here for one day and go away. We're here for the problem to go away."

The Mayor's Office stated the operation will continue beyond the 90 days to maintain law and order in the area according to complaints brought forth by residents.
