Only five and eight victims of robberies in Queens

The NYPD reported for the weekend in Queens there were only 58 victims of robberies. That's less than last year and crime is down. What do the 58 victims have to say besides the perps must go to jail which is not nice to do in NYC by the DA's office.

Most of the incidents occurred in the vicinity of Jackson Heights, Corona and Flushing followed by Ridgewood, Maspeth and Ozone Park vicinity.

One of the strange ones was a suspect wanted for carjacking in Long Island City. The incident shocked locals when the suspect took off the vehicle with a blind passenger in the backseat unaware of what's going on. Police say the son went inside a local store leaving the engine running with father in the back seat to pick up mother at the intersection of 44 Drive and 23 Street around 7pm on Saturday evening. The vehicle and the father was found unharmed about three miles away after police tracked down the vehicle.

So far no arrests.

The investigation continues.
