One on the hunt and one in custody after attempted kidnapping in Richmond Hill

Police confirmed after the video surfaced of an attempted kidnapping of a 5 year old in front of his mother, the suspect is in custody. The 24 year old has been arrested and charged with attempted kidnapping, reckless endangerment and acting in a manner injurious to a child less than 17. On top of the charges, the suspect attacked a police officer during the fingerprint process causing injury. The suspect was at Brookdale Hospital for treatment when police officers recognized him from the video and took him into custody. Police are now searching for the other suspect. The motive is still unclear as of now due to ongoing investigation.
