Oh Corona hear the sound of boxing bells

A fixture of the tennis court in Corona is now welcoming a boxing event at the Louis Armstrong Stadium. Louis Armstrong Stadium is a tennis stadium at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center inside the Flushing Meadows Corona Park, one of the venues of the US Open. It opened for the 2018 US Open as a replacement for the 1978 stadium of the same name.

The venue can hold up to 14,000 seats.

Now for the first time, a boxing event is scheduled on July 12.

The two main events will be between Edgar Berlanga vs. Hamzah Sheeraz and Shakur Stevenson vs. William Zepeda. The other bouts are Alberto Puello vs Subriel Matias and David Morrell vs Imam Khataev.

This is a one of the major event for boxing fans all over the world.
