Ogdensburg male arrested for unlawful eviction

On October 10, 2025, New York State Police arrested William L. Morley, a 67-year-old resident of Ogdensburg, NY, for unlawful eviction.

At approximately 2:33 p.m. that day, police responded to a landlord-tenant dispute on Morley Park Drive in the town of Oswegatchie. The investigation revealed that Morley had turned off the electricity to a mobile home on his property without prior notice and refused to restore power.

Morley was taken into custody and transported to the SP Ogdensburg for processing. He was released with an appearance ticket, scheduled to be returned to the Town of Oswegatchie Court in November.
