Colton male arrested for burglary 2nd and CPSP 4th

On October 11, 2025, the New York State Police arrested Sunny J. Dumas, 37, of Colton, NY, for second-degree burglary and fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property.

On October 8, 2025, at approximately 11:54 a.m., troopers responded to a burglary complaint on Chapel Hill Road in the town of Parishville. Their investigation revealed that Dumas had entered the victim's residence and stolen several items.

Dumas was arrested and processed at SP Canton. He was subsequently arraigned in the Town of Parishville Court and remanded to St. Lawrence County Jail without bail.
