Off duty correction officer arrested for domestic violence

Tyrell Gaines, 30 of Fresh Meadows turned himself in on Sunday after reported investigation of domestic violence at his home. The incident happened on Saturday, September 9 around 1am when Gaine's girlfriend called police after the alleged attack. Gaines turned himself in at the local precinct. His 23 year old girlfriend reported the argument was over baby sitting discussion. Gaines was charged with assault.
