Off duty cop shot in Harlem

Police reported an off duty cop shot in Harlem. The officer was shot in the foot after approached by two suspects. Those two suspects took off on foot. The suspects reported are males, black wearing all black and ski masks. ESU is working on the scene. The officer has been transported to a local hospital. It happened around 4:45pm. Ongoing investigation.

Broadway and West 125 Street closed.

This is the 7th time a police officer shot in NYC with 2 dead for this year.
