Numbers are higher than last year on two main crimes in Queens

Last night, the NYPD were called to the local Rochdale Park inside the tennis courts reporting a male shot and was later dead at the hospital. The incident was reported around 8:30pm in the vicinity of 134th Avenue and Guy R Brewer Blvd. The medical examiner transported the body to conduct an autopsy to determine the cause of death of the male.

The next one is robberies and there were over 100 in Queens alone.

The number spot continues to be Corona followed by Jackson Heights. Ridgewood and Glendale continue to report robberies involving suspects with mopeds.

The Mayor's office declined to respond to the crimes despite stating its all down and Queens is safe.

As usual, locals are to stay alert and be safe.
