Nope no downhill speed camera on LNP in Glen Oaks

Despite complaints to have a speed camera on Little Neck Parkway southbound by the school before 72nd Avenue, the NYC Dept of Transportation confirmed a new one will be placed after 74th Avenue. This is after the local farm before Elkmont Avenue in Glen Oaks.

Currently, a worker is on the Little Neck Parkway evaluating the number of speedsters to determine where the camera will be positioned. There is a speed camera on northbound near the same spot.

Usually, every Thursday is the day of speed camera installation in NYC. The fine is $50 with no points.
