Fire at a local school in Douglaston

Around 1:45pm this afternoon, FDNY reported fire at a local school on 60th Avenue in Douglaston. This is on the location, 245th Street at the local school basement. By 2pm, the fire was brought under control. EMS reported injuries and no children were injured.

The cause of fire is under investigation.

Firefighters are still working on the scene
