No new license plates for NYS

Today, Governor Cuomo stated there won't be a new license plate after public outcry. The program which was introduced in August that will cost drivers $25 and change plates every year to meet scanners at cashless tolls will be shelved. Cuomo stated from the Siena College Research Institute, 60% were against and 75% on the price. Cuomo is running for another term and decided this will be an obstacle to the campaign according to insiders at Albany.
