No budget for NYPD to clean graffiti

Today the NYPD marked it as the Citywide Graffiti Cleanup Initiative. Volunteers, cops, community members, court officers, local businesses, certain local politicians, kids and grandparents took part in cleaning up graffiti around NYC. Due to no budget from the city, NYPD relied on donations for paints after over 5,000 complaints. As for locations of graffiti, NYPD’s Vandals Task Force went around to check. Meanwhile the mayor's office reported for his $15 an hour to clean up graffiti didn't have even 100 people signed up despite bragging to reach 10,000 by this summer for short term work. A local group who didn't want to disclose identity reported after the state passed the budget, no need to go to work for that pay.
