Next sink hole reported in the Bronx

Today, a school bus carrying 39 children and 4 adults was stuck in a sink hole that occurred earlier today. This is on E 180 Street near Bronx Park Avenue in West Farms. ESU removed all from the bus and EMS reported injuries when it happened around 2pm.

The rear right tire of the bus is deep down in the sink hole and the heavy tow removed the bus.

As of now the road is closed for NYC Dept of Transportation working to close the sink hole.

This is the third incident this month.

May 15 was on the Long Island Expressway westbound in Melville.

Today in Queens, LaGuardia Airport where one of the runways is closed.
