Next programs coming from the Mayor to expand the homeless outreach in NYC

The NYC Mayor announced $650 million as part of a new program for city agencies including nonprofits for homeless outreach in NYC. This will be under the Office of Mental Health in cooperation with the state. The three core services are inpatient, outpatient and residential services, all which are available at the Creedmoor facility in Bellerose. This is the same location where migrants were living for the last few years some residents embraced while others opposed. Most of the residents were scared to speak out.

However, the Mayor did not specify if this involves migrants but confirmed helping people get off the streets with programs.

This is similar to the former Mayor de Blasio operated under Thrive which cost the taxpayers almost $1 billion.

The NY Governor has yet to say on the Creedmoor expansion of the Mayor's new plan. Some insiders say this operation will exceed $1 billion with more paychecks servicing the various programs to be announced soon. The new locations are not disclosed to the public.

Excellent.
