Next homicide investigation on Long Island

The SCPD is in Moriches reporting a dead body was found inside an apartment. This is by Lakewood Court in Suffolk County.

The medical examiner is working on the scene to transport the body to conduct an autopsy.

ESU is working on evidence search.

Another investigation in West Babylon where a pedestrian was died after struck by vehicle around 7:30am.

This is on Old Farmingdale Road and NY-109.

The last homicide investigation occurred on Monday in Brentwood around 11am where human remains were found. This is in the vicinity of Bancroft Road and Fifth Avenue.

Detectives are asking anyone with information to call police at 631-852-6392.

Both incidents are under investigation.
