Next homicide investigation in Suffolk County

The SCPD reported a dead body was discovered in the back of a commercial strip in Huntington Station. This is in the vicinity of Mercer Court on Jericho Turnpike in Suffolk County around 1pm this afternoon.

ESU removed the body of a male, Hispanic and the medical examiner transported to conduct an autopsy to determine the cause of death.

The area has been closed temporarily for investigation by detectives.

As of now, the investigation continues.
