Next heavy fire update in Queens

The FDNY reported second alarm fire at an apartment in Jackson Heights. This is on 89th Street by 37th Avenue. The fire started in the top floor and extended to the next floor below.

EMS is working on the injured.

37th Avenue is closed for emergency personnel.

Yesterday around 10pm, a second alarm house fire reported in Glendale. This is on 73rd Place at the unit, 78/41. The fire was brought under control by 11:30pm and all were displaced where Red Cross worked to transport to shelters.
