Next disaster struck in Westbury

Today around 9am, a male victim was pumping gas at the local station in Westbury and the car was stolen.

This was at 865 Carmine Avenue in Westbury when a 43 year old male was pumping gas when a suspect, male, black stole the vehicle, a Mercedes 2022. Another suspect, male, black was parked nearby, an Audi when both were targeting the victim.

The suspect took off with the vehicle while the gas pump was attached while the engine running. The other suspect took off in the Audi toward southbound Carmine Avenue. Shorthly, the suspect crashed the Mercedes with another vehicle at the intersection of Hempstead Turnpike and continued. Police found the vehicle at the intersection of Park Avenue and Hempstead Turnpike in East Meadow abandoned.

The victim was shaken but no injuries.
