New bill introduced for Suffolk County to raise the smoking age to 25

Suffolk County Legislator Sam Gonzalez introduced a new bill today to raise the smoking age from 21 to 25. The county executive is reviewing the bill. Gonzalez stated the bill will save lives of the young people. Already facing backlash from stores when people can go to Nassau County where the age is 21 or NYC. This includes vaping. The bill is under review before a vote is set forth this year.
