After two years of trial, today Dante Lennon, 22 of Freeport was sentenced 18 years conseecutivels and additional 3 years of probation after release.

During the sentence, Lennon fell apart and cried. Then quoted, "I am sorry over and over."

Then quoted, "I cannot tell these people that Right of Way is the reason this all happened."

The victims all spoke with their heart and soul of those died.

A date will be announced for the sentencing.

The car crash on May 21, 2022 shocked the community of New Hyde Park and the family members involved.

The crash happened outside the New Hyde Park Inn on Jericho Turnpike around 11pm after people were leaving a Sweet 16 party.

Three victims in the back seat of a Lincoln Town Car died after the impact from the vehicle, Mercedes Benz.

Dante was charged with three counts of vehicular manslaughter, vehicular assault, and driving while intoxicated.
