Male hit by a train dead in Long Island

This morning around 5:30am, the SCPD reported a male hit by train died. This is on Long Island Avenue near the Deer Park station in Suffolk County.

The medical examiner transported the body pending autopsy.

ESU cleared the area to resume trains in both directions after power was shut down.

The investigation continues.
