Never ending crime by moped suspects in Queens

The NYPD reported the latest robbery involving moped suspects occurred on the Long Island Expressway eastbound by Maurice Avenue. The incident occurred last night around 2:30am when a vehicle was flagged down by two suspects on a moped with one displaying a weapon. From there, all the victims inside a vehicle were robbed of their belongings. Then the suspects took off on a moped toward Maurice Avenue. EMS treated the victims on the scene. So far no arrests.

As of today, there were 114 robberies in Queens and Brooklyn involving moped suspects. Police didn't disclose if it's all involving the same suspects.

The investigation continues.
