Nephew busted for homicide in Queens under cold case

Police made arrest of a suspect wanted for homicide in 2009 in Ridgewood.

The incident sparked manhunt of a suspect who was tracked down in Florida.

Police arrested Anthony Scalici for the homicide of Rosario Prestigiacomo.

The murder occurred on February 10, 2009 at the home of the victim on Greene Avenue. 

This morning he was transported to the Queens Criminal Court on murder charges with arraignment.

The Queens District Attorney's Office is working on the charges.
