Nassau County police seeking public help

This morning, drivers alerted 911 of a dog found tied to a light pole on the Southern State Parkway westboun by Exit 21.

It's a mastiff breed and well maintained.

The NYS Trooper transported the mastiff to Hempstead Town Animal Shelter.

The dog is not microchipped.

Police are seeking the public help for any details.
