Nassau County Executive changed her mind on the police suing bill

The Nassau County Executive Laura Curran vetoes the bill that would allow all protesters to be sued by police in the event of assault, harassment or bodily harm during protests. She was all set to sign the bill to law until the governor's resignation was announced. She changed her mind today at 5:30pm due to constitutionality concerns. She will be taking the bill to the next governor in 14 days for the update.
