The owner of Nassau Coliseum is shutting down the arena by the end of June and selling the location. The lease with Nassau County will halt while seeking investors to continue the operation. The parent company, Onexim will hand over the lease to new investors if $100 million is raised. The company is laying off all the employees. The arena was shut down after the pandemic and the crisis has deeply affected the arena to continue.
