NYS to consider suspending driver licenses for unpaid fines

Local politicians in both Assembly and Senate are reviewing a plan for consideration of stop suspending driver licenses for unpaid fines and fees. The method is causing financial burden for DMV which collects annual fee for driver license renewal which is the main source of revenue.

A bill is under planning of what are the alternative courses to keep renewing the driver licenses while collecting the fines and other fees.
