NYS plans to raise tobacco and e cig sales from 18 to 21

Governor Cuomo announced on Saturday as part of 2019 Executive Budget to raise the age from 18 to 21 for tobacco and e-cig sales in NY.

The plan also called for end of sale of tobacco and e-cig products in pharmacies as well as ban certain flavored e-cig liquids.

At the same time, Cuomo stated e-cig must be sold through licensed retailers which is not regulated in NY.
