NYS has a town called Tonawanda and they made a new law

Members of North Tonawanda Common Council voted to make a new law on October 1st by putting parents in jail or fine if their children violates any laws including bullying. The law is for minors upon investigation. Parents can face 15 days in jail and $250 fine for violating the outlined curfew laws and bullying is the priority in the list. The law came into effect after four teens were kicked out of North Tonawanda Middle School for bullying. Local towns in other NYS regions are reviewing the performance and how effective it is to consider making into a law. Nassau County is also reviewing it.
