Friday evening to night had three vehicle accidents in Glen Oaks

On Friday, October 6 around 4pm, multiple vehicle accident reported on Union Turnpike and 249th Street. No injuries and it was minor. Around 7pm, one driver ran red light at Union Turnpike and 255th Street hitting a vehicle going north. Around 8pm, another multiple vehicle accident occurred on Union Turnpike and 264th Street. This time involving a motorcycle. The motorcyclist was taken to hospital with injuries. Although the incident is frequent due to the triangle lane on 264th Street, residents had complained for making 77th Avenue one way but NYC Dept of Transportation has not replied.
