NYPD and NYS Troopers on full force in Union Square

They came, they saw, they conquered, that's what NYPD and NYS Troopers did at Union Square in Manhattan after protesters announced of gathering to duplicate Portland scenario.
What happened?
Well, this is what happened - Federal judge denied request from Oregon AG seeking temporary restraining order against federal officers in Portland. NYC would lose the lawsuit too so now its all on Cuomo and de Blasio.
Cuomo furiously ordered troopers to stand strong against riots and looting if any in NYC to avoid from Trump engage federal troops to the city.
Meanwhile in Portland, the federal troops arrested 18 after weeknight protests at the federal courthouse. Charges include assaulting federal officers, arson, and damaging government property.
Less than 15 people were at Union Square in support of Portland protesters tonight. The other protest is Black Trans Liberation at Washington Square Park happening tonight with around 100 people gathered.
