NYC wants your car if you don t pay

According to the NYC sheriff, 16,798 vehicles have been impounded for not paying speed camera fines. Of 16,798 vehicles, the total violations for speeding are 133,729 violations. Even better, another 13,701 vehicles were taken away for red light camera violations. Even even better, 17,078 vehicles were taken away from civilians for bus lane camera violations. That's a total of 47,577 since February 1, 2021. If the vehicles are not claimed for a time period, the city will sell off in assigned auctions to cover the violations and other fees.
