NYC sheriff shut down illegal gathering in Woodside

On September 25 at 11:30pm, someone tipped off anonymously complaining of large group of people inside a hall for wedding reception. Within 10 minutes, NYC deputy sheriffs arrived at 69-02 Garfield Avenue and did a head count. 284 people inside and reported of 2 people charged with violation of emergency orders and unlicensed security.

NYC mayor is very concerned of spike in COVID over gun violence. Kew Gardens had 4.18% ratio and Far Rockaways at 4.05% ratio. However, the mayor reported there is no second wave in NYC but warned businesses in highly affected areas can be shut down.
