NYC select bus will add another 21 routes

On Friday, October 20, Mayor di Blasio announced 21 more routes for select service bus in NYC. SBS buses travel in dedicated lanes with faster signal change to green light when they are approaching intersection. The city will upgrade newer routes with road changes. The proposed lanes in Queens are from Ridgewood to Flushing, Flushing to Springfield Blvd, Jamaica to Flushing via Kissena Blvd, Queens access to JFK and the entire stretches of Northern Blvd, Hillside Avenue and Union Turnpike.
