NYC launched its own bin collection called refashionNYC

NYC in partnership with Housing Works launched refashionNYC, a bin to collect clothing, shoes, towels, rags and other forms of cloth materials. The program will support homelessness and AIDS in NYC. Tax receipts are on the bin. It can be used at apartments with 10 or more tenants, office buildings and commercial locations, school and educational institutions.
