NYC is looking into adding orange flags to cross streets

After the success of adding orange flags in cities nationwide for pedestrians to cross, NYC is looking into the plan. No time table has been outlined or if implemented. The city is still gathering which intersections are dangerous to cross for pedestrians. The study is to be done by Dept of Transportation if approved by the mayor's office.
