NYC is hiring a Director of Nightlife

The NYC Council passed a vote to create a nightlife commission. It will have one person in charge with 12 members. The title is nicknamed as night mayor to get started with people looking for the job by applying in person at city hall or contact the local councilmember. The job is a neighborhood liaison to oversee after hour businesses such as clubs, bars, delis and etc regarding noise, pollution and other non-criminal offenses to improve the quality of night life in NYC. The 12 members will be selected by Mayor di Blasio and Council Speaker. The bill was introduced by Councilman Rafael Espinal.
