NYC budget hearing underway all day today in who gets funding over math

Read the second paragraph.

The NYC Mayor’s proposed FY 26 budget is underway with discussions on who gets what and who doesn’t. The $116 billion budget without counting numbers which is part of mathematics will not be applied. With the Mayor in DC for the testimony on sanctuary city for the Congress, the office of the Mayor is also attending the NYC Council meetings.

The most profitable budget for the city is property taxes. The biggest landlord, NYCHA, that's public housing is asking for $81 billion dollars. $78 billion for renovations with bids to contractors and $3 billion for operations. Now get this. NYCHA doesn’t pay property taxes and never has mortgages but collects rents from tenants. The new name is affordable housing to keep it going to make more floors to the sky with private developers who funds certain local elected officials.

This is where MTA is jealous and sad.

This is where taxpayers are used by working hard to add more funds to the city coffers.

The Mayor is requesting for more federal funds and it’s all in the hands of a Queens, Jamaica native who went to the White House now in charge of America.

So it's all about housing vs travel. Really.

Where does the money go? None of your business!

Enjoy.
