NYC Sheriff Office is not having a good weekend

The NYPD has a NYC Sheriff from the Long Island City office today in custody. No details who it is or the charges.

The main Sheriff told the media there is an ongoing hearing from the city's Dept of Investigation but there was no search at his Queens office.

The DOI stated there is a safe box of cash that's not recorded in the voucher book and some pages were missing. The Sheriff's Office notified the DOI of this and investigation followed after the hearing with the members of the appointed committee of the City Council.

The DOI will be issuing more statements from today's update soon.

So until then it's wait and watch for the public due to ongoing investigation.
