NYC Mayor assign NYPD to safeguard BLM mural in front of Trump Tower

Today from NYPD, Mayor de Blasio confirmed 8 hour interval patrol of the BLM mural in front of the Trump Tower with 8 police officers with 1 sergeant per shift including 4 patrol vehicles with 2 per each side. That's 24 police officers and 3 sergeants overseeing per day. This is to monitor and preserve the BLM mural painted in front of the Trump Tower after criminal mischief occurred when a suspect painted red color on top disappointing the mayor. NYPD will be on top watch to ensure the BLM mural in front of Trump Tower is not damaged around the clock.
