NYC Council upset with the new federal executive order

New Yorkers missed Biden so much that they can't stand President Trump. Today, President Trump signed a new order to remove anyone living on the streets in all states and cities nationwide by placing them in shelters and other locations including those with mental issues. Treatment centers must be provided for anyone seeking help. A new budget from the federal government will be allocated for all seeking help and no one will be turned away. This includes veterans and those living in assisted facilities with more services.

However, many members of the NYC Council are upset with this new executive order since people must be left alone by making their own choice whether they prefer the streets or not. According to the NYC Mayor's Office, there are over 350,000 homeless people in NYC not counting migrants and some say this will force budget cuts to nonprofits and city agencies if the Fed takes over.

This is from the White House press secretary,

“President Trump is delivering on his commitment to Make America Safe Again and end homelessness across America."

This was a promise kept by President Trump.
