NYC Council officially has two Republican members starting 2018

Its official. Democrat Elizabeth Crowley concede to Republican Robert Holden after votes count from all angles. Holden will be announced as the new council member of Maspeth, Glendale, Middle Village, Woodside, Ridgewood and Woodhaven. The Board of Election confirmed Holden won by 137 votes, up by 4 from the previous mark of 133. Mayor di Blasio is not happy with Holden's victory due to indifference between each other.
