NYC Council approved the first beach in the city

A beach is coming to Brooklyn. This is all set to start the development by 2024 on River Street between North 1st and 3rd Streets in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. This is part of the affordable housing to keep people in government control while developers pay no taxes. The name of this project is River Ring. 1,050 apartments plus 50,000 square feet YMCA and the park connecting the beach with more features to enjoy the East River. When completed, a portion will be allocated to qualified tenants under the low income budget with starting rent around $2,000 per bedroom while the rest have to pitch in $3,000 plus.
