Heavy police activity in Bellerose with arrests

Police have closed off the service road of the Grand Central Parkway by 244th Street after two suspects were taken into custody. This is in Bellerose Little Neck Douglaston vicinity. One suspect is on the hunt last seen on Union Turnpike and Commonwealth Blvd in Bellerose.

This was a pursuit of a vehicle that didn't stop for burglary or attempts in the area.

One suspect is now apprehended by Cross Island Parkway and Hillside Avenue.

Chopper notified.
